What the hell is the right size of nipple to buy to go in this hole? I couldn't find a damn thing that worked today. I want to run my Ultra J&S off that port hole. Maybe you guess tapped the hole over again but just let me know cause I am stumped as hell right now. Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, that water injection hole uses some sort of funky british thread pattern.
Are you looking to use it as a vacuum source for the J&S? You can always get a "tee" like the one below. Instead of putting the boost gauge fitting there, put a 1/8" nipple and you're set.

According to zip, the OE FPR is fine with a vacuum tube from the throttle body (OBD II GSR's have an unused one).
Then you could hook up the J&S to where the OE FPR connected to the manifold.

Javin,
The thread pitch of the water injection hole is 8mm x .75 pitch (extra fine). This is VERY HARD to find in any store... automotive or otherwise.
Remember that you must pull the manifold if you re-tap the hole... metal shavings inside the blower case would be bad.
As for the use of a vaccuum source at the throttle body for the OE FPR... I need more info to be sold on this mod. Has anyone seen any fuel pressure fluctuations at WOT from the slight vaccuum condition created just inside the Throttle body blade ???

Once at boost the FMU takes over anyway. The OE fpr was always meant only to see atmosphere and vacuum. It doesn't contribute to anything during boost except for those aftermarket fprs that actually have about ~1psi rise rate per pound of boost. I didn't see any fuel pressure fluctuations when I was running a relatively stock fuel delivery system during boost.

Yeah, re-tapping was pretty much out of the question from the get go. The tee might work but I don't want to have all this stuff teed and tapped all over the place. I think I am gonna go to a metric parts warehouse (need to anyway to buy the bolts for O2 sensor bunges) and try to find the right size nipple. Thanks to all that contributed

I tapped boost gauge inside car.. I just cut an extra piece of that small white plastic hose and ran off the tee provided connected 3/16 inside car .. Works Fine Last Long Time ...
